Kaisi vs Kaise vs Blue Blood

There's confusion over whether the word 'kaisi' was said by someone in the Opposition as claimed by Frank Bainimarama.

On February 11 in Parliament, Bainimarama warned the Opposition against using derogatory words like 'kaisi' in Parliament.

This is what he said:

"It's very insulting to hear one of our members being insulted from across the room from that side with the iTaukei insult 'kaisi'. "When you walk out, you can pick it up again, your Ratu, your Adi, and you walk out with it. When you walk through that door, nobody really gives two hoots about your title, supposedly your blue blood; you walk through there as in a military establishment.

Blue blood, isn't that an insult?

"This establishment is something I see along that line. Maybe we should have a mirror outside that door Madam Speaker so that when we walk in, we look at the mirror, if you can see blue blood or royal blood running through your vein, then you have the right to come and call everybody here 'kaisi'."

However there is no record of this word being said in the Hansard and the Speaker of the House Jiko Luveni says she did not in fact hear the word 'kaisi' being said.

The Speaker did not hear it, the media never heard it, the people in the gallery never heard it, the Parliamentary staff there at the time never heard it.

Only Frankie heard it.

Even when the minutes of the meeting were being confirmed the very next day, Bainimarama didn't ask for any amendment

What has actually now surfaced is that on the day, Bainimarama made a threat in Fijian under his breath.

He threatened to throw his water bottle at someone in the Opposition. The Opposition has the video below as proof of this.

Niko Nawaikula doesn't want to talk about Anirudh Singh's beating at the hands of the CRWU under Ponijese Sotia and Ilisoni Ligairi (both ex 22nd British SAS officers) supposedly because they were the "right kind of beatings" done under the "right kind of government".

That "snatch team" was officially sanctioned by Sitiveni Rabuka and was a tactical team set up specifically to do that type of activity.

They snatched Anirudh Singh from Rewa Street and took him upto Col I Suva and beat him him over the course of a whole day.

Nowhere in Niko Nawaikula's presentation does he talk about the torture of Mahendra Chaudary by the George Speight group where they subjected him to graduated stress techniques (both psychological and physical) which were directed at forcing him to sign the PM's resignation paper George Speight had prepared for him to sign.

Speight went into the room and sat down with Chaudary and conversed with him about the policies of the FLP and then Speight left the room and then masked men came in and beat Chaudary up.

Then after the beating Chaudary would go lie down, and then Speight would come again after two or three hours and talk about FLP policies again, and then Speight would leave and some more guys come in and start swearing at Chaudary and trying to do things like open his mouth and spit in it (which is the worst type of humiliation to a Hindu)

In the case of Chaudary it went on for days. Beateings interspersed with the good guy routine from George Speight.

And then they had to also do Bible studies because they were supposed to convert to Christianity

They were told their their Gods have no power and they worship sticks and stones and the only real God is the one in the Bible and that they must pray to him only.

After the Bible study, the next day the whole torture, good guy, Bible study routine was repeated.

And then the ultimate torture was when they "prepared Chaudary for execution at the flagpole".

Why doesn't Nawaikula go the full hog and reveal that too ?

What about the teams led by Ilisoni Ligairi to the West in the hunt for the guns of Lautoka where those farmers were subjected to things like having chillies put on their private parts and their mouths opened and spat into

The Muslim guys were taken and thrown in pig stys and made to crawl around and kiss the pig.

The people who were subjected to those kinds of torture in Ba and the Sabeto areas from that period will remember a 5 foot 10 inches well built fair skinned man wearing Ray Bans (and thought he is a European)dressed in T shirt and jeans and canvas (civilian clothes) standing in the background whilst the soldiers and police searched their farms and subjected them to interrogation.

Why is Nawaikula not talking about that as well ?

Go the full nine yards

What about Inspector Bulatiko of the CPS walking into Crompton's office in downtown Suva and pointing a Police issue revolver at Peter Knight's head demanding information about Miles Johnson's whereabouts ?

Does that not also qualify as torture or was it the right kind of torture hence not worth mentioning ?

What about the stripping naked of the Indian people in Ba making them march up and down the hills and do frog jumps on the tarmac road?threatening to rape and kill and pointing the gun at the people and going brrrrrgghh brrrrrgghhh brrrrggghhhh?

What about the cow shit that was forced down there throats and making them crawl flat on the ground?the stick beatings and cane knife threats to behead?

What about the Hindu temple chasing all Indians to it and threatening to burn it whilst people are in it?

What about the gang rapes and burning of properties?

Running on the street and assaulting anyone that is Indian?

Nawai tell the story.

What about the threats to stab a knife in someone head if they don't listen?what about the threats to cut off the people's ears ?nose and tongues if they didn't listen or follow the commands? What about the stomping and smashing of fingers?what about the threats to kidnap other extesive families and rape and burn them with kerosene and benzene?

The CRWU was formed in 1987 by Rabuka and he appointed Ilisoni Ligairi and Ponijese Sotia two ex British 22nd SAS officers to set it up.

Amongst the first recruits to the CRWU were men, such as Naivalurua, who had been in the team which were led by Capt Dugu and Major Draunidalo in taking over the Parliament wearing gas masks on 14th May 1987

The CRWU was directly involved in the torture of Dr Anirudh Singh and the abuses all across the West during the hunt for the guns of Lautoka. The Police team supporting them in the hunt for the Guns of Lautoka was led by Naipote Vere.

Those methods which you refer to are from Northern Ireland.

Before Ligairi and Sotia came to Fiji and taught those tactics to the CRWU things like family were out of bounds and attacks on civilians and sabotage of infrastructure and that sort of thing was also unacceptable.

Assassinations were unheard of and mutinies were never even imagined.

In 1987 you can see how they applied those tactics to Anirudh Singh. Singh was taken from in front of his house on Rewa Street by a snatch team that was specifically trained for that sort of thing. The sole reason why he was taken was because he upset Sitiveni Rabuka with his writings at USP and so Rabuka ordered the CRWU to snatch him and torture him.

It is this same CRWU which was involved in the events of 2000. Tarakinikini was a founding member of the CRWU in 1987.

All these old and new CRWU guys came together again in 2000 and created that chaos

Anonymous said...

I see the maniac is off his meds again. Yes, it's our friend, the cut and paste guy, the very same guy who repeatedly says we need to bury and forget the events of 2000, because we don't want to revisit those, but then regales us with article after article, story after story, from those days.

I'm not sure I understand his point. He seems to be telling us that this sort of bullying and violence was wrong before, and so that somehow makes it right now. It just doesn't seem to dawn on him that maybe it was wrong before, and it's still wrong.

He doesn't see that there's a regression here. It begins with getting cuffed by teachers and then flogged by a gauntlet of senior boys. They go on to duck walking people and to forcing them to kiss pigs or eat cow dung. Next thing you know, they're cocking guns in people' mouths. Then, they graduate to cocking guns in people's anuses. If they're really cowardly, they even stomp pregnant women in the dark.

Is this the same Ilisoni Ligairi who Bainimarama brought back from retirement a few weeks before the Parliament takeover? Gee, I wonder why Bainimarama did that. I also wonder why Ligairi immediately began plotting the takeover, which he must have, given that he only had a few weeks to prepare.

And is this the same Naivalurua who Bainimarama promoted to Compol and now Ambassador? Gee, I wonder why Bainimarama would do that.

Maybe Forrest Chump can explain that.

Chaudhry: Government's actions unfair
in Share

Felix Chaudhary | Friday, February 27, 2015

THE sugar industry will not progress without the genuine involvement of growers, says Mahendra Chaudhry, the former prime minister and general secretary of the National Farmers Union.
He was responding to Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama's statement in Parliament that Government did not plan to hold elections for the Sugar Cane Growers Council.

"The Government's actions have been unfair and unlawful," Mr Chaudhry said.

"It is unfair to deduct money from growers' payments for the SCGC levy when they have no say in the very organisation they are funding.

"And Government's actions in dismantling the council were unlawful under the Sugar Act, which is still in place."

Mr Chaudhry said the dismantling of organisations such as the Sugar Commission of Fiji and Fiji Sugar Marketing in 2009 effectively removed growers' participation in an industry they had a 70 per cent stake in.

General-secretary of the Fiji Cane Growers Association Bala Dass said the PM's statement in Parliament was a big blow to the industry as a whole.

"There are more than 13,000 growers in the country and without proper representation, where can they take their grievances to," Mr Dass said.

"They can't take their problems to the Fiji Sugar Corporation or to the Government.

"If Government is serious about bringing back confidence to the industry, it has to recognise the council because it is funded by the farmers and they must be represented."

Mr Bainimarama told Parliament at its last sitting that no representation have been made by the growers to convene a new election "and they know the reason why".

@ 8.01am

When are the people going to wake up and realise that Fiji is under a very subtle communist ruling for starters. Its happening already - in the end you will not own your land or your natural resources, you will not own anything of material value - the government will be in control of it. You will answer to the government. The government dictates to you and you sign up and obey. Next they will be on to you and your family members - the welfare of children will be taken over by the government by compulsory laws that all parents must follow etc etc. On the outset, may seem to look like a good thing..but one needs to sit up and be vigilant. Yes indeed as Frank put's it Fiji is definitely moving forward at a fast pace.

In the Fiji First government there is no such thing as 'having a say' for goodness sake. When are the people going to realise this. Chaudhry of all people should know.

ENSLAVEMENT is the new vocabulary that all in Fiji should look up and try to understand how it all connects with the current laws of the 'Beynimerama government' as Aiyaz often puts it. GROUPTHINKING or BRAINWASHING techniques are already at work.

One just has to look at all the comments of the Fiji First idiots on this blog - same same - no different to the corrupt mindset of their Leaders.

These sorry lot will be the first in the line up for the 'mark' when the time is right.

Bainimarama never "brought Ilisoni Ligairi back from retirement".

That is a lie.

Ligairi was on his farm at Nabalebale and retired when the rebel CRWU who were doing their prepping for the Parliament takeover, nearby at Valavala Estate (Rabuka's estate), went to his place and asked him to come down to Suva because they were going to take over the Parliament and needed his guidance.

If Bainimarama brought Ligairi back from retirement then show the Gazette appointment. It should be very easy to obtain from the Government archives at Carnavon street.

That is the problem when you buy into the rebel propaganda.

Too many lies.

@12.20pm I am talking about Nawaikula's selective memory. He made a long presentation about torture set out as a propoganda piece against Bainimarama.

He selectively picked and chose

He himself was party to the torture at Parliament of Chaudry because he was adviser to the George Speight Group when it was going on and he was there at Parliament in 2000.

So how come he talks about torture selectively when he himself (and the CAMV) were party to the very kinds of things he now seems to find abhorrent ?

If he wants to dig it up, then go the full nine yards. Dig it ALL UP

Why pick and choose ?

@7.15 That's true. They turned Labasa town into Brazaville, Congo

They were not only drunk they were also high on marijuana.

They went to the Police Station and told the Police officers to come out and stand in front of the station and then they started shooting at their feet and told them to run around. Up and down and round and round whilst the fired rounds at their feet.

Finally when they got tired of "the game" they got on their 4WD and headed off firing rounds into the air.

That is what they were doing and the CRWU rebels actively participated in all that and encouraged them to do those things

Anonymous said...

They trashed the Draiba Fijian School whilst they were at Parliament.

They defacated in the classrooms.

They had sex in the Principal's office (on his table) and left condoms all over the school

They punched holes in the black boards.

They drank in the school garden and left beer bottles everywhere.

They punched holes in the walls.

This is an Itaukei school for Itaukei kids which they trashed.

That's the CRWU rebels for you

They did the same to the Parliament. They defacated in the Parliament rooms. They had marijuana parties in the offices. They had group sex sessions in the rooms at Parliament

They stole the Parliament mace

The stole the masi hanging from the Parliament rafters

They wrote their names in graffiti all over the parliament eg "Tuks waz hia" etc etc etc

That was the "rebel revolution"

It got to the stage where George Speight himself became concerned for his own personal safety and took his sister to Parliament to cook his food.

They started carjacking all vehicles going up Vuya Road and anyone in the near vicinity upto Ratu Sukuna Road.

They carjacked so many taxi's that they had a fleet of stolen taxi's at the Parliament carpark.

Taxi drivers who went up Vuya Road were stopped at gunpoint and their cars taken.

In the end no vehicle travelled up Vuya Road during that period for fear of being carjacked.

And when they finally left Parliament after the so called "Muanikau Accord" they set all the vehicles alight. They burnt the cars. There were Pajero's, and Toyota's and taxi's and all sorts of cars in the parking lot which were burnt.

The car owners went to Parliament to find their burnt out vehicles in the parking lot.

That's the CRWU rebels for you

That is why these atrocities will never end.

They went to Kalabu Fijian School in a fleet of stolen vehicles. At the Laqere bridge they stopped at the Vegetable and fish market and pointed guns at the stall owners and took all their fish and their vegetables and their root crops.

Then they went up the road to the shop and emptied collar of all the Chicken the ice cream, the frozen food, and they emptied the shelves off the tin fish and the rice and just about everything in the shop

Then they went to the houses in the area and commandeered their fridges. At least twenty fridges were taken at gunpoint from houses in the area

Then the circus proceeded to Kalabu Fijian school where the CRWU gang and their supporters set up their new Camp.

At Kalabu Fijian school Nimacere and his gang turned up and were given a rapturous welcome for having successfully escaped from Naboro prison.

They were all given weapons.

Thence began the worst nightmare for the people of Laqere and the surrounding area.

When the Squad that cleared Kalabu school did its mopping up the team were shocked to see class rooms full of perfumes, clothes, televisions, mobile phones, radios and fridges full of every kind of food imaginable including ice cream.

An influential Doctor ordered nurses and a Senior Sister into Parliament, those rebels inside were fearful of coming out for medical treatment, most were treated for sexualy transmitted diseases [std] like gonorhea, kutusebe, chlamydia, syphillis etc.

There were lots of women raped and gang raped in Parliament.

On the last day they drank liqour in one of the Parliamentary rooms reserved for VIPs with the nurses before they went outside and began vandalising and burning all vehicles parked in the carparks including Govt m/vehicle and stolen vehicles. The burning was led by Col Vakalalabure's younger brother.

That was the type of democracy they were leading Fiji into.THen they left for Kalabu Fijian School and stole fish and crops from poor i-taukei families making a living from the Laqere Market, yes the vendors were mostly i-taukei and the rebels stole from them.

They began house invasions stealing and looting from Canteens and small shops set up by families and communities for their livelihood.

Word got out that they would storm and seize Valelevu Police STation so the Police Mobile Unit was despatched there along with a unit of heavily armed soldiers to give the rebels a 'good welcoming ceremony'.

The communities nearby were informed that on the way to Valelevu they would loot and steal from shops and houses along the way so the men mobilised themselves ready to face them.

The rebels received info about the welcome ceremony at Valelevu awaitting them so they quickly dropped the idea of seizing Valelevu Police Station. They were now worried, the Military and Police by now has beefed up their menpower at Laqere Bridge and Kalabu Police Post with lots of firepower and ammunitions.

So the gang rapes continued in Kalabu Fijian School, one male would fix a girl take her to an empty classroom where ten or more males wait in hiding, once she opened the doors to her dwelling house the others would materialise from the shadows and the girls warned not to scream, then its Sodom and Gomoroh, from Parliament to Kalabu, the nurses have left by now, so the STD's apeared again.

@3.53 what you exhibit are classic symptoms of what's called the Stockholm syndrome.

Just like Rajendra Chaudry is posting on his facebook the Death Certificate of the very man who tried to prod his ass with a tapoika branch when him and his father were being beaten by the CRWU at Parliament. One of the masked men was the man Rajendra Chaudary has on his facebook as a "victim of military brutality".

Had the CRWU not walked in with guns to Parliament because Rabuka told his Uncle Ligairi to do so (yes Ligairi is Rabuka's uncle and that's how the rebel CRWU prepped at Valavala estate and walked down the road to Nabalebale and planned the coup) you wouldn't have had your life put at risk

Anonymous said...

@3.53 and don't talk about using fists.

Ballu Khan was stopped at the Police Post at Lovonilase bridge (on the Lami side).

Feoko Gadekibau and another CRWU man were his bodyguards. They came out of the vehicle and started arguing with the Policemen.

They didn't realise that the Commander's own bodyguard was sitting inside the Police post. He wasn't armed. He was waiting for them.

Feoko will remember that day because he shyte in his pants when the Commanders bodyguard pumped him with a kick to the guts as he steppd in the door.

The other CRWU boy was judo thrown into the far wall and smashed into the floor

Both ouit for the count

Ballu Khan himself knows what happened to his two "bodyguards".

One man took them both out at the Lami Police Post.

Sa kua so na veibeci

Anonymous said...

Ballu Khans girlfriend stood outside screaming whilst Ballu Khan's two bodyguards called for the ambulance to take them to CWM and Ballu Khan just came back from watching a rugby match in Nadi.

The two CRWU boys did not know who that man was because he is not regular force. Rau kila leca.

He had left the RFMF years before these two joined up and had gone to the Reserves and became a Manager of one of this country's top companies.

Anonymous said...

So with all the talk about freeing George Speight and etc etc etc its good to have this refresher so that people know exactly why he is in jail and why he is not supposed to come out for life.

Instead of allowing the SODELPA apologists of the cause (and "the method", despite their protestations to the contrary they did benefit from "the method") the TRUTH about what happened puts things into correct perspective.

The propaganda about charging loyal RFMF soldiers for protecting their country is designed to remove Bainimarama as a perceived threat to Canberra's interests in this region.

Bainimarama's China look North leaning is a thorn to the beraucrats in Canberra and the easiest way to scuttle him and his Government is to raise questions about his conduct of the affairs of 2000 in the manner that the CRWU propaganda as postulated by Nawaikula & Co is being put out to gain that currency in the push for that objective.

But that narrative cannot be allowed to go unchallenged because the truth of what happened in 2000 is not what that narrative purports to sell.

Anonymous said...

Seriously who are these people saying free CRW and support them? You people must of been the looters and rapists.

Hughes was on the investigatin of these atrocities and developed leads. They were going to arrest senior officials in the military because all fingers seem to point about someone from the top tier chain of command.

But the coup was carried out and investigation came to halt and files locked away case closed. We are now back at square 1!! with more atrocities.

Anonymous said...

Hughes is an Australian Federal Police Officer. He still is.

He was here seconded from the Australian Federal Police.

The so called files he has taken to Canberra and handed over to the Australian Federal Police (which incidentally are Fiji Police Force files and shouldn't have left the country leave alone fall into the hands of the Australian Government for which he worked) are being used to destabilise Fiji.

Canberra's fingerprints are all over this and Suva knows exactly how and why.

This is not new. In 2006 Hughes took those files to Wellington and tried to have Winston Peters advise the New Zealand Government to direct the Commissioner of Police in New Zealand to arrest and charge Bainimarama. It failed to materialise because the New Zealand Police Commissioner and the New Zealand DPP and the New Zealand Attorney General saw the papers and realised its a stitch up job. They saw it for what it was, a dodgy geopolitical manouver by an Australian Federal Police Officer.

The same thing was done to Julian Moti in the Solomons by the AFP. They set him up on false charges about some rape allegations. Canberra took all the "witnesses" to Australia and paid off the rest of the "witnesses" in Vanuatu to stitch up that case against Julian Moti

This is nothing new.

The only end of this will be when the Australian embassy is told to send their Commissioner back to Australia because that's where its heading and they should not be surprised when it happens.

Suva is not blind or stupid.

There are still murder mysteries to be solved even if they have become cold cases. The spouses, children and families of those that were murdered are still asking questions and still crying during their prayers. They will not rest until justice is done and we cannot let their petitions be in vain.

All developments attributed to any government after the coups cannot compensate for the murder of even a small person whose life cannot be restored.

This topic will still be discussed in this forum as long as it still is in existence.

PM Bainimarama wanted the Police to investigate the 2000 Coup, halfway into the investigation the Police were told to investigate the removal of Rt MR as President,so the Police dropped investigations into the coup, had they not done so, they would have filed charges against those Chiefs supporting Podgie in Parliament plus the Businessmen who were bankrolling the 2000 Coup. The Chiefs and Businessmen were horrifed when they learnt that they are being investigated for their involvement so they tried to slow Police investigations by first removing the Australian lawyer who was assisting the DPP office.

When they illegaly removed the Aust lawyer who is an expert in Treason Investigations they then forced the Police to drop investigations into those Civil Servants,Chiefs and Businessmen who were involved in the 2000 Coup and to turn their attention on PM Bainimarama who was Commander then and investigate him on the removal of President which they themselves ochestrated,[remember Plan A and B remove MR from Govt House and put him out to sea, then the delegation with the Tabua.]

PM knew what was going and realised that Hughes is now dancing on the tunes and melodies played by the Holiday Inn Quartet so Hughes has got to go.

When PM went to NZ, two senior officers from the Fiji Police tried to coerce NZ Police to assist them arrest PM in NZ but were told by the NZ PM that they cant do that since he hasnt committed any offence on NZ soil.

The Holiday Inn Quartet are still around together with the businessmen.

The businessmen only wanted MC removed, not the President. MC was after the 'FAT CATS'. He was going to change how the Govt does business and started with the Airport and Airways Industry before jumping on business contracts that past Govts have awarded to companies who have now become FAT CATS.

The Chiefs only wanted to be back in Parliament on the drivers seat.

The Civil Servants wanted to be promoted eventhough they werent qualified for top posts,a domino like effect.

Yawn!!!!

Noam Chomsky
Imperial Ambitions

It has nothing much to do with language. Language is the way we interact and communicate so, naturally, people use the means of communication to try to shape attitudes and opinions and to induce conformity and Subordination.
This has been true forever, but propaganda became an organized and very self-conscious industry only in the last century.
It is worth noting that this industry was created in the more democratic societies. The first coordinated propaganda ministry, the Ministry of Information, was set up in Britain during the First World War. Its "task," as they put it, was "to direct the thought of most of the world."1
What the ministry was particularly concerned with was the mind of America, and, more specifically, the thinking of American intellectuals. Britain needed U.S. backing for the war, and the ministry's planners thought if they could convince American intellectuals of the nobility of the British war effort, then these intellectuals would succeed in driving the basically pacifist population of the United States—which wanted nothing to do with European wars, rightly—into a fit of hysteria that would get them to join the war. So its propaganda was aimed primarily at influencing American opinion. The Wilson administration reacted by setting up the first state propaganda agency here, the Committee on Public Information.
This is already Orwellian, of course.
The British plan succeeded brilliantly, particularly with liberal American intellectuals. People in the John Dewey circle, for example, took pride in the fact that for the first time in history, as they saw it, a wartime fervor was created not by military leaders and politicians but by the more responsible, serious members of the community—namely, thoughtful intellectuals. In fact, the propaganda campaign succeeded within a few months in turning a relatively pacifist population into raving anti German fanatics. The country was driven into hysteria. It reached the point that the Boston Symphony Orchestra couldn't play Bach.

The subtlety does not make it any less insidious.

Caricaturing two persons in the Government and designing a narrative to that effect has to be supported by a propaganda that creates that vilifying effect.

There must be mud, and the mud must stick.

In this case its been convenient to use the events of 2000 to caricature Bainimarama as a bloodthirsty, evil, demonic, backstabbing dictator who took power in 2006 because he was afraid of an upstanding AFP officer investigating him for alleged crimes in 2000 (which AFP officer, truth be known, was here on Canberra's errand).

Chomsky gives a descriptive account of how its works in that quote above.

Gramsci explains that "dialectic" within a hegemonic context. That the "information" is manipulated for specific outcomes. Power outcomes.

But the bottom line is there's a narrative, and its designed to effect specific geo-political outcomes.

Hence the selective story telling by the anti Bainimarama camp to create a storyline that caricatures Bainimarama in the worst like and they in the best light.

It is said that information is power.

Of course it is.

It depends on how one uses it.

Anonymous said...

Forrest Chump does not have to make propaganda. The truth just speaks for itself. The AFP office in Suva was closed in early 2007 after the AFP station officer in Suva was sliced up in the AFP House in Lami by "unknown assailants". He was medically evacuated back to Sydney in an emergency medical flight.

That happened after Suva repeatedly warned Canberra against interfering in Suva's internal affairs and after the Australian SAS were tracked down in Suva and forced to take sanctuary in the safety of the Australian embassy on Princess Road whilst the tracking teams surrounded that embassy waiting to gun them down.

The vehicle parked right in front of the Australian embassy gates on Reservoir Road upset the Embassy officials to the extent that they called the local media to raise their concern about "unknown men in civilian clothes" parked outside the Australian embassy gates.

It was only after the Australian Head of the Armed Forces called QEB and requested safe passage for the besieged Australian SAS officers that they were give safe passage to the airport and allowed to leave Fiji.

And that's not Forrest Chump.

That's real

Anonymous said...

After that series of events the Australian PM Howard went to the media with a release saying that he did not anticipate Australian interference in Fiji's internal affairs and certainly not military

What he failed to disclose is that the AFP and the Australian SAS had worked together in bringing those men into Fiji without the approval of Suva.

They then moved to safe houses around Suva.

The first team who arrived here came in a private plane and jumped the fence at Nadi without clearing Immigration.

Howard only made that statement when those men were surrounded and at serious risk of being killed.

They all ran for the Australian embassy on Princess Road and took sanctuary there.

Whatever explanations that have been posted here by propagandists in trying to quell suspicions that Bainimarama was deeply involved in the 2000 coup, they do not explain why he hid from the people of Fiji the involvements of foreign "collaborators" as they say. Perhaps they will prove that their allegations are facts in future, but as for now, they are still no more than mere allegations.

These propagandists, highly trained as they are in the art of anything to create doubts in the minds of those who really and sincerely seek the truth, will not be able to hide all truths that we have been deprived of. The fact that several innocent people have been murdered (and these are not mere allegations but are facts) during Bainimarama's tenure does not deny that he was and still is a tyrant, despot and a dictator.

While many knew that corruptions were occurring in former Governments, the means adopted by coup makers to oust those Governments were all not only illegal but were morally not right and will never make anything right from now on until and unless they explain themselves rightly to the people and due punishments deservedly exacted on them; and as for believers like me, until and unless these power thieves make themselves right by the ultimate judge of mankind who is God, Jehovah their creator and ultimate law giver.

That MO had worked in East Timor when Canberra applied it there.

It did not work here, and it will not.

Two Australian SAS officers died here. 4 others were seriously injured. One RAAF helicopter pilot died as well and one AFP officer was evacuated to Sydney for emergency surgery.

The Recce Australian SAS team all ended up on the run and sought sanctuary in the Australian embassy after being compromised.

Canberra knows it was a disaster. The East Timor intervention template failed when applied to the Fijian context.

Hughes is just another one of the same AFP crowd. He's already taken Fiji Police Force files belonging to the Government of Fiji and handed it over to the AFP in Australia who have gine through it with the Canberra beuracrats.

Julian Moti supposedly committed offences in Vanuatu (under Vanuatu law), was set up by the AFP in the Solomon Islands (it riled Canberra that he became Attorney General in the Solomons), was arrested in PNG(arrested after Somare was strong armed by Canberra to arrest him) and then was put on a special military flight and taken by the AFP to Australia to stand trial for offences allegedly committed in Vanuatu 20 years before, and which had been heard in the Courts in Vanuatu and dismissed as being unsustainable

Its now supposed to swing the same way for Bainimarama, or at least that's whats being planned by the geopolitical manipulators.

AFP officer stabbed in Fiji home invasion

November 24, 2006

Hands off Fiji, army commander warns

An Australian police officer has been evacuated from Fiji with his family after being stabbed during a terrifying violent home invasion by a gang of 10 men.

The 49-year-old Australian Federal Police (AFP) officer was slashed on his hands and forearms when he tried to stop the intruders from breaking down a door of his Suva residence early this morning, Fiji police and the AFP said.

Once inside, the youths ransacked the home, robbing it of cash and valuables before fleeing in two cars stolen from the residence.

One of the vehicles is believed to belong to the AFP.

The Australian was treated at a Suva hospital and then flown to Australia with his wife and two children, who were unhurt.

Hands off Fiji, army commander warns

November 25, 2006

AUCKLAND: Fiji's military commander warned other nations to stay out of Fiji's business as he prepared to face charges of plotting to overthrow the Government.

Security for Australian Federal Police stationed in Fiji is being reviewed after an officer was stabbed during a home invasion. The officer was evacuated from Fiji yesterday with his family.

Commodore Bainimarama warned yesterday that events in Fiji were "nobody's business but ours. We don't expect anyone from other Pacific island countries to come in and meddle in our affairs," he told Television New Zealand

Australian Federal Police said a 49-year-old officer sustained injuries to his forearms and hands when he was attacked after 10 men broke into his home while he and his family slept.

The men ransacked his home, stealing some of the family's property. They escaped in two stolen vehicles, one which belonged to the federal police.

The Chump does seem like a typical bore, doesn't he, droning on and on with his opinions and half-truths, lecturing us on the nature of insurgencies and now the intentions of "geopolitical manipulators", as if they confide in him. LOL. This know-it-all is trying to defend Bainimarama, but he only ends up implicating him in more thuggery.

Really, are we supposed to be impressed that we live under the thumb of a thug who would send "unknown assailants" to "slice up" the AFP station chief in his own home? This man didn't jump the fence at Nadi. He came here with diplomatic credentials issued by both Canberra and Suva. By treaty, convention and international law developed and recognised over centuries, he was entitled to the full protection of our government. But instead of meeting its legal and moral obligations, our government assaulted him and threatened his life and the lives of his colleagues. That's the clear implication of the comment at 8:12 AM.

What are we now, Iran, where we assault resident diplomatic personnel?

Earlier this creep suggested that SODELPA members are somehow insurgents, "therefore" their lives are without value, and they should be gunned down in the streets in broad daylight. Maybe like what Putin just did to Boris Nemtsov in front of the Kremlin a couple of days ago.

Is that the sort of government we want? Is that the kind of governance we should admire?

The more I read this guy, the more he sounds like a mad dog. What will be his next boast, how he beat Virisila Buadromo or how he sodomised Ben Padarath with a rifle barrel? What a piece of shit!

Ben Padarath planned the killing of Bainimarama and other senior officers with his Uncle Driti, that's what they were doing when they were compromised. So he meets up with the people he planned to kill and then he starts crying after the fact ?

Australian military occupation of East Timor proceeds “full steam ahead”

By Peter Symonds
27 May 2006

As Australian troops pour into East Timor and take control of the capital Dili, the neo-colonial character of the operation is becoming increasingly evident. Under the pretext of preventing civil war and helping the Timorese people, Australian imperialism has moved to reassert its dominance in East Timor, to install a compliant regime and to protect its economic and strategic interests.

Australian Prime Minister John Howard declared yesterday: “There is a significant governance problem inside East Timor, there’s no point in beating about bush. The country has not been well-governed and I do hope that the sobering experience for those in elected positions of having to call in help from outside will induce the appropriate behaviour inside the country.”

By last night at least 500 Australian troops, backed by armoured vehicles and Black Hawk attack helicopters, had fanned out in Dili, after seizing the international airport on Thursday. An Australian frigate and supply ship are stationed in Dili harbour. Three more troop carriers are due in the next two days, to bring the numbers to 1,300 soldiers and 500 support personnel—a force larger and far more heavily armed than East Timor’s tiny military. Australian troops will be reinforced by 200 New Zealand troops, 500 Malaysian military personnel and 120 Portuguese paramilitary police. The US is providing heavy airlift capacity and has sent 50 marines to guard its embassy in Dili.

Howard stressed that the Australian-led force was in East Timor to stay. “There’s no point in pulling out early. It’s a big thing to send 1,300 troops in. It’s a very foolish, shortsighted thing to pull them out before their job is completed. These tasks always last longer than you expect in the beginning.” The Australian press speculated that troops would remain at least until after Timorese elections next year, but Howard’s remarks foreshadow the possibility of a much longer military occupation.

Anonymous said...

Howard’s claims to have received an “invitation” from East Timor are transparently thin. In a Mafia-style operation, Canberra made Dili an offer it could not refuse. Amid deepening tensions within the East Timorese security forces, Australia dispatched troops and warships to the Timor Sea on May 12 without even informing the Timorese Prime Minister Mari Alkatiri. The move was designed to put pressure on Alkatiri, to encourage dissident pro-Australian elements, and to preempt any intervention by rival powers, particularly Portugal, East Timor’s former colonial ruler.

The Howard government has made no secret of its hostility to Alkatiri, who is increasingly being demonised in the Australian press as an autocrat, an incompetent and an elitist, out of touch with the sentiments of ordinary East Timorese. In Rupert Murdoch’s Australian, for instance, foreign editor Greg Sheridan branded Alkatiri as “a disastrous prime minister” who has “entrenched the clique of ageing, dogmatic Marxist-Leninists within Fretilin and exacerbated every division within East Timorese society.”

Canberra had been pinning its hopes on a challenge by a faction led by UN ambassador Jose Luis Guterres to oust Alkatiri at last week’s congress of the ruling Fretilin party. When the “elitist” Alkatiri easily beat off his rival, the Howard government moved to intervene, using clashes between government and rebel soldiers and police as the pretext. While the full story of the factional divisions between “easterners” and “westerners” within the security forces remains to be told, it is no surprise that a dubious figure—Major Alfredo Reinado—with strong connections to Australia and its military has emerged as the purported rebel leader.

Relying heavily on East Timor’s President Xanana Gusmao and Foreign Minister Jose Ramos Horta, the Australian government used sporadic fighting between “rebels” and “loyalists” to extract an initial request for assistance on Wednesday night. While Howard insisted that the full intervention force would only be sent in once formal arrangements were in place, his stance abruptly changed on Thursday evening. Pointing to instances of violence, magnified out of all proportion by the Australian media, he gave the order to go “full steam ahead” without any final agreement on the rules of engagement with Dili.

I just find it down right stupid and disturbing when commenters try to paint a general nasty picture of someones religion all in the attempt to show that their personal lack of faith is somehow superior. The books of the Bible were not simply fairy tales or written without evidence. Just because I've never met the Pope doesn't mean he doesn't exist. And to anyone who wants to leave religion out of this political struggle, I say fine, but then what are you doing re-introducing it in the absence of provocative religious comments, and why are you denigrating others' religious beliefs when no one is attacking yours?

If you want to keep discussion of religion out of the political struggle, then stop re-introducing it.

Australian Army helicopter crashes near Fiji

AM - Thursday, 30 November , 2006 08:00:00

Reporter: Alexandra Kirk

TONY EASTLEY: The deep waters off Fiji may prevent authorities ever finding out the reasons why an Australian Army helicopter crashed and fell into the sea off the deck of an Australian warship late yesterday.

There were four crew and six soldiers onboard the helicopter when it crashed while trying to land on the deck of the amphibious transport ship, HMAS Kanimbla.

One Australian soldier was killed and an SAS trooper is missing.

Eight people were recovered; one was unscathed, while the others have minor injuries. The search for the missing man is continuing.

Kanimbla and two other Australian warships were sent to Fiji in the event of a coup there.

From Canberra, Alexandra Kirk reports.

ALEXANDRA KIRK: The tragic accident occurred off Fiji, well out to sea. After informing the immediate next of kin of the 10 army soldiers involved, it was left to the Chief of the Defence Force, Air Chief Marshall Angus Houston, to break the bad news.

ANGUS HOUSTON: It is my sad duty to inform you of an accident involving a helicopter on HMAS Kanimbla.

ALEXANDRA KIRK: Standing solemnly by his side was the Defence Minister, Dr Brendan Nelson.

BRENDAN NELSON: The sympathies of all Australians go out to the families of those who've been directly affected by this accident. We are extremely proud of these men and women who wear the uniform of the Australian Defence Force.

So they were successful with their destabalisation activities. Only too successful because it ended up backfiring on them when one of their own AFP officers became a victim of the instability.

And that's the problem.

You can't go and destabalise another country and incite and support various groups on the ground and then sit back and let them turn the place to smithereens as was the case in East Timor and not get pulled into it.

Those gangs who were active in that Lami area had been invading many homes in the area during that period with the influence of ethnonationalist groups based around the Nadonumai and Qauia areas.

Their targets were Expatriates because of the value they got fro those home invasions as well as the net effect it had on the international perceptions of the country (unstable and crime ridden)

That AFP officer was on the receiving end of the very destabalisation efforts his Government had underway in Fiji

It backfired on them

They dug a hole for Fiji and they fell into it themselve

Australia, US back sham election staged by Fiji military regime

Washington and Canberra have rushed to endorse the bogus election staged in Fiji last month. The vote was dominated by the country’s military, which has held power since staging a coup in 2006, with the FijiFirst Party (FFP) of self-declared Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama winning 60 percent of the ballot.

The major powers are seeking to forge stronger ties with Fiji as a means of undercutting China’s influence in the geo-strategically significant South Pacific state.

The US State Department released a statement declaring, that “we congratulate the people of Fiji for the steps they have taken towards restoring democracy, including conducting the historic vote on September 17.”

Similar praise issued from Canberra. Former Australian minister Peter Reith headed a Multinational Observers Group that was sent to monitor the vote. He endorsed the election before the results had even been counted, declaring that the ballot was “on track to broadly represent the will of the Fijian voters.”

The British-led Commonwealth reinstated Fiji’s membership, hailing the “democratically elected government.”

In reality, the elections were held under conditions of press censorship, severe restrictions on opposition political parties, and military provocations. The day before the vote, the army marched through the streets of the country’s capital, Suva, in a thinly veiled threat of another coup if the election failed to maintain Bainimarama and his cronies in power.

A quarter of the government’s parliamentarians, and seven of the appointed cabinet members, are ex-military. Radio New Zealand reported that the army organised a “tea party” after the vote in honour of their former commanders in the regime.

Prior to the election, strictures were placed on political parties seeking ballot access. Parties had to obtain 5,000 signatures in 28 days, a large number in a small country with a rural-based population. Out of the 16 parties previously registered, only two were able to gain registration within the initial deadline under the new provisions. Those that failed to gain registration had their assets confiscated.

Any party that failed to obtain registration but continued its political activities was liable to an $F50,000 ($US25,640) fine. By the time of the vote, six opposition parties were granted registration, but several leading political figures were still barred from standing. These included former prime ministers Laisenia Qarase and Mahendra Chaudhry, who were barred for previous convictions, on charges that they both allege were politically motivated.

The US and Australian support for the Fijian elections and military-dominated government underscores their hypocrisy about human rights and the rule of law, across the South Pacific and internationally.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko claims that Boris Nemtsov died before proving Vladimir Putin has knowingly positioned Russian troops inside Ukraine in order to fight alongside the separatist forces. A recent poll in Russia shows that the Russian people believe that the U.S. giving Ukraine military aid is only an excuse for taking over the country, or starting World War 3.

In order to create an Islamic state in the middle east, DAESH has been rapidly recruiting new members for its terrorist attacks and has even taken over sections of nations. Seized oil fields provide a steady income stream by which they wage war, with experts estimating their steadily increasing wealth at over $3 million per day.

Some experts believe DAESH wants to start World War 3 in order to draw in as many nations as possible to their conflict.

“I think the mission of the enemy is to precipitate World War III,” says Frank Gaffney from the Center for Security Policy. “The path we’re on at the moment unfortunately, I think, suggests they’re more likely to achieve their goal than we will be in preventing them from spreading a global wide conflagration.”

When CNN interviewed King Abdullah II of Jordan, he was asked whether the military response to DAESH should be “an Arab response, a Muslim response or should the West be in the lead.” In response, King Abdullah said everyone needs to be “unified” in order to bring DAESH down.

“I’ve said this to leaders both in the Islamic and Arab world and to the world in general: This is a third World War by other means. This brings Muslims, Christians, other religions together in this generational fight that all of us have to be in this together,” said King Abdullah. “So it’s not a Western fight. This is a fight inside of Islam where everybody comes together against these outlaws, so to speak, together. And there’s a short-term part of this which is the military part of the issue. There is the medium part which is the security element of it. And then there’s a long-term element of this, which is obviously the ideological one.”

What do you think about King Abdullah’s comments about DAESH and World War 3?

This blogsite is about Fiji, not Daesh. But Abdullah is absolutely right. This is already a Third World War pitting nihilistic Islamist extremists against civilisation.

Russia, China and Fiji should be joining the West and all responsible Muslims in this fight against these barbarians. Instead, Russia and China will try to spin this into some kind of US-hatched conspiracy against them, and try to use Daesh to exploit tensions amongst Nato allies.

Fiji will continue courting Beijing and Moscow with its Open Legs Policy, no matter where it leads. And, whenever challenged, the RFMF will continue to surrender up its arse to Daesh.

What's this nonsense about the PM changing the flag without consulting the people? He is the people. He was elected by all of the people. He speaks for all Fijians. He doesn't need to consult with himself.

Anonymous said...

He is the perfect embodiment of the will of the Fijian people.

No, Frank doesn't need to consult with himself. He only needs to consult with Aiyaz.

All Hail Bainimagaitinamu, yes you're correct because your anus was used for prodding drills. Even your mother offered her anus for the same purpose. Shame on you fuckface.

Frank needs to consult with his cabinet. In other words, you're right, he only needs to ask Aiyaz.

FIJI has been ranked in the top 10 countries in the world in terms of the percentage of searches for the word "porn", according to figures compiled by Google Trends.

Fiji is ranked fourth in percentage for searches of the word "porn" and ninth for searches of the word "pornography".

Most of the searches came from Tui Viti's computer, followed by Voreqe Bainimarama. Vili Rakoro is not far behind, and surprisingly Meli's wife also carried out many searches.

All Hail Bainimarama still doesn't seem to know that National Socialism is Nazism. Or maybe he does know, in which case he's right. FFP is a Nazi movement.

Well I guess that about sums it all up.

Perfect analysis!

It is better to side with Muslims who worship the Almighty God rather than the uncircumcised, idol worshipers like Rajendra Chodory who have brought misery to our Fiji ever since the British brought them in.

PRIME Minister Voreqe Bainimarama asked the sports fraternity to become ambassadors for Fiji's new flag at the Fiji Sports Awards on Friday night.

He said the Pacific Games would be the last big regional sporting event where Fiji's sports people would be standing before the existing Fiji flag.

"Not many of you will have memories of the Colonial era in which Fiji was a British colony, where we honoured and saluted the union flag of the United Kingdom.

For every other Fijian, the British symbols have no meanings whatsoever, the colonial leaders have spilled into history and it's symbols have no relevance to the lives of Fijian people today," Bainimarama said.

"I am asking all sportsmen and sportswomen to support this initiative and to embrace the position of being ambassadors of the new flag."

"You are chosen to go to Port Moresby, go with the pride under the banner of our existing flag, feel the surge of pride if you win and our beloved flag is raised."

Bainimarama reminded the sports fraternity that this year more people in Fiji would be watching the Pacific Games than ever before.

"When you go to the Games, always remember the eyes of Pacific Islanders are on you. We want you to do us proud, not only in the arena or the pool but set the highest principles of sportsmanship and personal behaviour," he said.

Here is Bainimarama talking out of both sides of his mouth, as usual.

This is the same guy who, when asked why he still had a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in his office, replied not so long ago that she was still the queen of his heart. Now he says the British symbols have no meaning whatsoever.

Such is the heart of a traitor.

He calls it our "beloved flag" yet demonstrates again and again that he has no love for it. He betrayed the country it represents and now he wants to replace it altogether without even consulting the will of the people on this very fundamental matter affecting all of us.

This is the nature of a tyrant.

The same officer who committed treason, stomps on pregnant women in the dark, and sends vulgar and abusive text messages to priests is exhorting our athletes to "set the highest principles of sportsmanship and personal behaviour". Hardly a paragon himself.

These are the words of a liar and hypocrite.

Best wishes to our athletes at Port Moresby. But to aspiring athletes who really want to serve our country, I urge that instead of track and field, rugby and soccer, you take up marksmanship and archery.

The comment at 12:24 regarding archery brought to mind an interesting post from a couple of years ago by Dakuwaqa. Dakuwaqa's posting was very literary, ending with an allusion to the Swiss national hero, the crossbowman Wilhelm Tell. Does anyone still have the quote?

Tell had refused to bow before the posted hat of the tyrant Gessler, appointed by the Hapsburg emperor. Gessler gave Tell only one chance to save the lives of himself and his son: he had to shoot with a single bolt an apple placed upon his son's head. Tell made the shot, but Gessler noted that Tell had taken two bolts from his quiver. When asked why, Tell replied one bolt for the apple and the other for Gessler if he missed. Gessler arrested Tell for that remark, but Tell soon escaped and slew Gessler with an arrow, sparking the Swiss Confederacy's drive for independence from the Hapsburgs.

I agree with the comment at 12:24. Fiji needs a Wilhelm Tell.

Bainimarama the smirky-faced proud-ass 'Thug of Fiji' is a tyrant for ever.

The useless and meaningless speech for athletes to set the waaaaaaat?? "Highest principles of sportsmanship and personal behaviour"??? Is he really serious??? Hahahahahahahaha - friggin lousy moronic hypocritical two-faced mule of a Diktator. The spectre of Communism is alive and well indeed.

Our Athletes are not only physically fit but are all well educated, intelligent enough to know that they would rather worship and honour God then Frank Bainimarama's lousy flag of dishonour that he has forced upon the people of this nation.

Frank, his military goons and Fiji First slaves can go right ahead and idolise their new flag.

As for the sensible people of Fiji - we have far better things to do then allow ourselves to be brainwashed.

Where is the practice range for archery anyway? Let us perfect our marksmanship on the double!

Now that Rajendra Chaudhary has got his prcticing licence back, it would e most interesting to see if has guts to come back to Fiji?

Anonymous said...

@7.51pm

That's a crazy question! Put yourself in his shoes and see whether you would have the bloody guts to return to Fiji!

Do you think he has lost his senses to even think of returning to Fiji? And for what purpose pray tell?

Would you gladly tread on buried dynamite by your enemies in your front and backyard?

Why would anyone be so stupid to return to Fiji if one is able to enjoy life in a new country?

The New Fiji and Revolutionary Iran are natural partners. They have much to study and learn from each other. The mullahs in Tehran are the world's greatest exporters of terrorism. And the goons in Suva are the greatest practitioners of terrorism in Fiji.

Anon @ 2:33, the quote you're looking for from Dakuwaqa is probably the following: "Aiyaz seeks to choreograph a phony consultation process stacked with regime supporters ready to drown out the voice of anyone who stands up to them. This ploy will not succeed if we elect and rally around those who should be leading Fiji. Once we organize, we can participate in the consultation process more effectively and be prepared when, not if, the exercise is proven a charade. Only then will we be able to enter this unfair competition as we should: boldly, like William Tell, with an arrow for the apple, and a spare for the tyrant Gessler."

This quote is from three years ago. Too bad we didn't listen.

As one of the MPs present what came from us the Opposition side was 'KASEI"!!
This was said after TWO Government backbenches confidentially mentioned to a few of us that, not only were they ashamed of Frank's childish and arrogant actions, but also, they the Govt side are NOW well and truly KASEI!!
