Laisenia Qarase has told coup leader, Frank Bainimarama, and his illegal attorney general, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum, their days 'are numbered'.
In a video released on Youtube yesterday, Qarase responds to Khaiyum's latest diatribe about the Great Council of Fiji, which appeared in the Fiji Sun this week, describing the comments as 'denigrating and insulting.'
Qarase says Khaiyum has no right as an Indo-Fijian to tell indigenous Fijians what to do, especially about the GCC.
He also says opposition parties with large Indo-Fijian followings, such as FLP, NFP and PDP, all want to retain the GCC.
A party stalwart says Khaiyum and Frank Bainimarama have used media and criminal decrees to try to frighten SODELPA but it was now stepping out on social media 'to find space for our democratic and indigenous group rights that include diversity.'
"This is not about racism but about market science, art and truth."
Teimumu leads march in West
The march was led by party leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa, and despite restrictions on the use of placards and being monitored, supporters joined in.
Member for the West, Mick Beddoes, says members and supporters came out
in numbers to signal the ‘awaking’ of the SODELPA push to regain democracy for
Fiji.
"All those
who found the courage to step out in the open and declare their support for
SODELPA have the gratitude and admiration of the SODELPA leadership," says Beddoes.

He hoped the courage displayed by West supporters yesterday, would motivate and encourage others to 'cast aside their fears and join in the push to re-establish accountable and transparent democracy in Fiji.'
"And this win comes without a single other candidate for Fiji First being named," says Beddoes "so it's Frank Bainimarama's win and the other 49 candidates to be announced are irrelevant.
"So even if Frank nominated 49 goats to stand with him, according to the polls he and 49 goats would win 40 seats."
Beddoes says Bainimarama had announced just last week that he would take all 50 seats and 'now even his rigged poll has to concede that Fiji First might win 40 seats.'
"But this is a 20% drop despite the millions of dollars they are throwing into these elections."
Beddoes says SODELPA and its opposition partners are just "warming up, so if we have already put a 20% dent in his rigged poll outcomes, it’s not unreasonable to assume that once our campaign pace and message gets some traction, another 20% drop is likely and all of a sudden Frank Bainimarama will be looking at 30 seats."

In the process, he's given many of your co-religionists high profile positions in the public service that are often undeserved. His underhanded dealings have channeled lucrative government contracts to his cronies, who are mostly Muslim, no doubt in return for favours.
Aiyaz's treason against Fiji and favouritism to fellow Muslims is not helping your image. And at a time when radical Islamists are commiting acts of terror all around the world, this is probably not the best time to be posting threats on Fiji's most popular website.
My advice is to renounce Aiyaz, renounce terrorism, and avoid provocative actions and statements.

In fact, Bainimarama's election "win", by giving him what the regime will make appear to be a mandate, will make it quite difficult for subsequent governments to impose the death penalty as punishment for his treason, even if a death penalty is reinstituted. Probably the only real risk is that ASK stumbles and so mismanages the election that its fraud appears too obvious for anyone to endorse it, which is highly unlikely.
Assuming all goes as rigged, does a grateful Banimarama then reward ASK with an ambassadorship or appoint him to a high office like that of Chief Justice? Or does he decide to rid himself of ASK, reasoning that his usefulness is over, he's now become a greater liability than asset, and/or he's the last remaining threat to Bainimarama's absolute power?

Phillipa is a foreign correspondent who interviewed Bainimarama and is was clear in his responses, that the Military Council selected him. Former Prime Minister and Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry says the 2013 constitution is not legal although the party will contest the election under the constitution.
Chaudhry was responding to a question on why the government has been saying that people should uphold the constitution.
Speaking to about 50 people in Qauia at the FLP campaign meeting last night, Chaudhry said the current constitution was imposed on the people as any constitution has to be approved in parliament.

ASK has confided to his very very very close associates that he will need urgent medical treatment in early September, his family, his parents and brother's family will need to join him in case he needs an organ transplant. He has FB's assurance of protecting the family assets in Fiji through the armed forces. Incidentally his loving Aunty Noor and her estranged husband Zareena will be joining them with their sweet cute daughter (or son...whatever he/it is). They will have a grand farewell party at Noor's house during Eid and then they start the customary farewells visiting all that are left to be looted.
They intend to return if ASK's treatment is successful in late September or they may ask for asylum!!!

On the Fiji Sun today the well known Child Molester Bolatiki tried to show Bainimarama's weak spot for Children by writing a story about the fact that Bainimarama is the first illegal PM of Fiji to ever sit down with school children.Bolatiki then goes on to say that in his speech to the people of Nuku in the highlands of Fiji Bainimarama then told the people assembled that " Politicians and their Political Parties are cowards because their messages are based on distortion and lies".Bainimarama goes on to say that His 2013 illegal Constitution is " inclusive".
This was more pathetic than funny when we come to think of it.For Bainimarama to brand other politicians and other political parties as cowards for distorting the truth Bainimarama has only to look at himself and see how he was talking about himself.Speech does not constitute a coward but deed does. FijiFirst leader, Voreqe Banimarama has made it clear that he had nothing do in bringing back Francis Kean as a civil servant.
Bainimarama made this statement at the Fiji First campaign meeting in Kalabu.
The issue was brought up when Bainimarama was asked a question by a member of the community on how it is possible for a person who was charged and convicted to work in the civil service.
Bainimarama then replied that he knows that the question was being asked because Kean is his brother-in-law.
However the FijiFirst Leader said that he was not involved in anything concerning Kean’s appointment and he came back because of the Yellow Ribbon Project.
Bainimarama then shared his experience of being given a chance to join the Navy in 1975.
He said a lot of inmates are in need of a second chance to succeed in life.
Meanwhile, Bainimarama has also revealed that the FijiFirst Party will announce its first list of proposed candidates in the next few days.

Fiji Labour Party has lodged an official complaint to police against Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase alleging he had prior knowledge of the May 2000 coup.
The complaint comes two years after the Labour MP, Mr Lekh Ram Vayeshnoi, made the first allegation in the Lower House.
Prime Minister Qarase had challenged the FLP on February 22, 2002 to provide concrete proof or withdraw its claims.
FLP Member of Parliament Poseci Bune believes he now has the evidence and has lodged a complaint at the Central Police Station on Saturday.
In his report, Mr Bune refers to two specific meetings, which he says implicates the Prime Minister.
Mr Bune has also reported allegations against Mr Qarase on having instructed military Commander Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama to remove President Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara, following a meeting at the Fijian Holdings Limited offices.
Bune is requesting a police investigation. He says the onus is on the Prime Minister to clear himself of any involvement in the 2000 Coup.
These allegations continue to surround the Prime Minister’s Office. In the Upper House last week, Senator Jim Ah Koy, said former Senator Adi Finau Tabakaucoro had informed him of the Prime Minister’s knowledge of the plans for the overthrow of the People’s Coalition Government.

PROFESSIONALS and business persons make up the most number of clients for sex workers in Fiji.
This was revealed in the Integrated Biological Behavioural Surveillance Survey (IBBS) and Size Estimation of Sex Workers in Fiji: HIV Prevention Project report.
A total of 298 sex workers from seven centres around Fiji participated in the IBBS survey, the first large scale quantitative research on sex workers in Fiji.
Participants were asked about the professional background and ethnicity of their last clients of which was revealed that professional and business persons made up 29 per cent of the total clients.
Tourists made up 25 per cent while taxidrivers made up 9 per cent and policemen 6 per cent.
Police chief operations officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu said they did not condone members of disciplined forces accessing the services of sex workers.
"I am not privy to comment on the involvement of police officers as clients since we do not have the report but can only state that being a member of the disciplined force, such relationships are not condoned," Mr Tudravu said.
Sportsmen and military personnel also made up the number of clients (5 per cent each), expatriates and government officials (2 per cent each) and church ministers (0.2 per cent).
The participants were also asked about the ethnicities of their last clients in which was revealed that Fijians of Indian descent made up 41 per cent and iTaukei 30 per cent.
Other races made up 12 per cent of the client list, which included 23 Europeans, six Australians, two Papua New Guineans and Rotumans and one each for Filipino, mixed race and Samoan.
Chinese clients accounted for 7 per cent.
"Fijians of Indian descent were significantly more likely to be clients of transgender sex workers (52 per cent), and of Fijians of Indian descent sex workers (67 per cent)," the report stated.
"Similarly, the iTaukei Fijians were significantly more likely to be clients of iTaukei Fijian sex workers (34 per cent). Those of foreign nationality were more likely to be clients of sex workers working in Nadi (26 per cent)."
Participants also revealed that a weekly sex-related income ranged from $20 through to $600 although the study reveals there was some suspicion that some participants were reporting the fee per client rather than the total weekly earnings.
i taukei must mobilise and go to cities and villages and talk to i taukei about what Khayium's plan is for the country.
The i taukei votes will decide the future for Khayium.

And to say that protection of the land is entrenched in the 2013 "Constitution" only shows Bainimarama's dick is entrenched in your arse. This phony "constitution" does quite the opposite. It removes the protective provisions built into the 1997 Constitution and gives the PM wide discretion in how all lands are to be used. His decision is then final, cannot be challenged in court, and "valid" for 99 years.
Fiji First is really about putting Bainimarama first and Fiji last. Bainimarama has been an unmitigated disaster for Fiji. Since 2000, his coups and coup attempts have set back Fiji economically and socially by many years. His talk of unity is only a smokescreen. It isn't unity behind a cause or a principle he wants; it's only unity behind him that he wants.
We will never unite behind treason. We will never vote for a murderer. We should unite, instead, behind a call for justice, the chief end of government. Let your hero answer for his crimes first. If acquitted, he's free to run for office. But if convicted, he deserves to hang. And so do his accomplices.
