| Another Bainimarama asset: New house for Mary Bainimarama. |
The answer continues to be NO and there is enough evidence to show this.
Take this house on Milne Road. It was bought by Frank Bainimarama as a Mother's Day gift for wife, Mary, but wasn't declared in his Fiji First Party assets.
As said before, the pair have more stashed away then they've admitted so, yes, pigs do fly.
Mick Beddoes has meanwhile had a closer look at the Constitution of the Fiji First party and says it reads more like a secret cult then a political party movement.
The general secretary of the regime-led party, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, has said of Fiji First: "It's more than a party, it’s a political movement." Like Frank Bainimarama, Khaiyum blames the country's unresolved ills such as health, water, roads etc, (even after 8 years under their control), on all previous governments.
The Bainimarama Government it seems is without fault.
Read what Beddoes has concluded about the treasonous pair who insist they have done so much for Fiji.
By Mick Beddoes
The original Fiji First came into being after the 2000 coup and it was a spontaneous reaction to the coup and I was its Chairman.
The group consisted of the various political parties and Trade Unions including the FTUC and NGO’s and we were all agitating for the release of Mr Chaudhry and his colleagues who were being held hostage in parliament. We disbanded after their release and did not register the name Beddoes said.
The second version of Fiji First that he was aware of is the Fiji 1st registered by Mr Amit Singh as a party name to replace its original name of Heritage Party. Legal documents proving the registration of Fiji 1st have been widely publicized.
This 3rd version of Fiji First is the Bai-Kai version.
They stole their name, hijacked the country’s coat of arms as their logo and established what is basically a ‘copy cat’ party which offers nothing original.
With that kind of a beginning, I assumed their constitution would also be a copy of a basic democratic political structure in the normal sense of the word. NOT SO.
I have to say I honestly could not believe what I had read the first time I went through their constitution, I to read it 3 more times just to be sure I was not imagining things.
The Fiji First constitution demonstrates absolutely that Bai-Kai are ‘control freaks’ and like their 2013 constitution they have entrenched their control in Fiji First in almost the same way they have controlled things in Fiji since 2006 and entrenched themselves in the 2013 constitution to hopefully continue after September.
According to the Fiji First constitution ordinary members and appointed officials of Fiji First are basically ‘irrelevant’ they are only there to serve Bai-Kai.
None of the officials of Fiji First are elected into positions by the members, they are all appointed and Bai-Kai do all the appointing. Even after being appointed, their every decision can be over turned, rejected or vetoed by Bai-Kai. Bai-Kai can even make policy changes and give it to the appointed committees who are bound to adopt as if they had made the policy.
The Fiji First Constitution reads more like the structure of some secret cult, than a political party and it’s certainly not a movement.
And here’s why:-
When registering Fiji First, Frank Bainimarama became the 1st Founding Member, he then appointed Khaiyum as General Secretary [he became the 2nd founding member] and he appointed Dr Luveni as President [she became the 3rd Founding Member]
There was no inaugural general meeting to democratically establish the party and elect Interim officials, or founding members as most democratic organization would do.
Fiji First Founding members were not only self-appointed; they remain in place for life. [Much Uganda’s Idi Armin Dada]
Fiji First is controlled by 3 main committees.
1. The Founding Members:-
Although there are 3 founding members, Dr Luveni is basically ‘irrelevant’ as she is on record saying in a May 9th Fiji Sun report when responding to her ‘unexpected’ appointment by Frank Bainimarama as Fiji First President quote ‘we are always ready to accommodate whatever decision he makes’. So she will pretty much do as she’s told and that will leave just Bai-Kai to make all the decisions.
Any hope of ordinary members of Fiji First rising up through the ranks in a democratic process to Leadership positions is negated by the fact that the 3 Founding Members are in their positions for life. [Sec 5.3 b) ii]
The powers the Founding Members have includes:-
• They are automatic members of the Leadership Committee
• They have the exclusive rights to vote in or out members of the Central Executive Committee
• They are entitled to be ‘appointed ‘ on to the Central Executive Committee
2. Leadership Committee
The Leadership Committee comprises the Founding members from time to time. So the 3 Founding Members are members of the Leadership Committee. This is ‘automatic’, no voting or democratic process here and transparency goes right out the window.
The powers of the Leadership Committee include:
• Electing from its members the parliamentary Leader [ I think they mean appoint ]
• The Parliamentary Leader will be the head of the Leadership Committee
• Power to appoint 15 members of the Central Executive Committee [CEC]
• The power to appoint and terminate new Founding members
• Carry out any of the functions of the Central Executive Committee which shall be deemed to be an act or decision of the Central Executive Committee [Sec 5.3 vii 1.]
• Veto, overturn or amend any decision of the Central Executive Committee
• Direct the Central Executive Committee in writing to adopt and pass any resolution which shall be deemed to occur if the CEC does not do so
• Amend the party constitution
• Shall in consultation with the CEC have the final say in the selection of candidates
So although the Leadership committee appoints the Central Executive Committee, they retain the absolute powers to veto, reject and overturn all their decisions and make policy for them as well.
3. Central Executive Committee
This committee is basically charged with the responsibility of running the day to day operations of Fiji First and its functions are spelt out in Sec 8.2 e). However as you will see from the powers of the Founding Members and Leadership committees, all the decisions of the Central Executive Committee are subject to veto and being overturned.
What is absent from the Fiji First constitution is the ‘active’ participation of the ordinary members from the branch levels upward to the top. The whole structure is controlled from the top down and Bai-Kai controls every aspect of the party and its operations.
There is nothing in the Fiji First constitution that suggests it is a democratic organization, nor is there anything in the constitution that would suggest it is a group of people working together to advance their shared political, social, or artistic ideas as we would expect a ‘movement’ to do.
The Fiji First structure and organization is set up so that Bai-Kai can dictate from the top down and with its members having absolutely no say what so ever.
When you look at the structure, you realize that the organization of Fiji First is inconsistent with and often in conflict with all of the Attributes and Core Values expressed in their preamble from Sections 2.3 and 4.
They do have some new and novel attributes that border on the more bizarre such as:-
• Far sighted: They claim to possess psychic powers to SEE AHEAD and be able to guide
Fijians along the best way forward.
• Decisive: they claim as an asset, their ability to make bold decisions even without
the complete information being available. They can make painful but necessary
but correct decision for the long term.
• Compassionate they say they are able to instinctively empathize with our people. WE CAN FEEL,
their worries, concerns, as well as share in their hopes and dreams.
Not sure where their compassion was when this poor citizen was beaten to death.
And what of the pain of Mrs Rabaka, did they feel that too?
And what were they feeling when they watched the video of the escapees getting beaten up?
There is nothing in the organizational structure of Fiji First that upholds the rights, freedom and dignity of human beings or promotes and fosters common and equal citizenry, or is clean, incorruptible, above board, transparent that can be seen as leading with integrity and there is certainly no equal opportunity to progress and for a person’s contribution to be recognized and appreciated on the basis of merit
The party structure and controls as laid out in their constitution show that it is a party for 2 people only, Bai-Kai and everyone else are irrelevant.
I suspect that most Fiji First members have not read their parties constitution and therefore don’t know just how controlled and undemocratic it actually is.
To accept appointment on one of the committees, one would need to be willing to be a ‘political corpse’ or a zombie, and allow Bai-Kai to overrule, change or reject all the decisions made by that committee. On the other hand, if the person being appointed to a committee is the recipient of a multi million contract from the regime, then forfeiting one’s own credibility and dignity to serve on a committee that has to do everything but has no power to change anything may be a small price to pay for some.
There are many other things in the Fiji First constitution that are bizarre but 2 of these stand out: and these are:-
Sec 10 h) when the Chairman is standing, no other member shall stand or speak at the same time.
The other is the last item in the Fiji First constitution and it has to do with winding up the party and what to do with the balance of funds collected. If anyone doubts that my reference to ordinary members of Fiji First being ‘irrelevant’ perhaps this clause may help them concede that perhaps I could be right.
Sec 11 i) If there remains after satisfaction of all its debts and liabilities any property whatsoever the remainder shall not be paid or distributed amongst members of Fiji First but shall be given or transferred to some company, association, society or other body having objectives similar or in part similar to the objectives of FIJI First to be determined by the Leadership Committee at or before the time of dissolution.
So assuming there is $1 million left after all bills are paid, and members worked hard and contributed towards fund raising for the party. When the time comes to share what is left NO MEMBER will receive a cent and only BAI-KAI have the power to transfer the funds to some other body and they can even do this even before the party is dissolved.
Democratic Movement indeed!

TV, I've been giving this same advice since I began posting here. Look it up, Boob Tube.
And the self-styled "PM" IS an idiot.
To the gullible such as yourself, he's a magician. To the rest of us he's just an illusionist.
The greatest illusion of his tyranny is our ignorance that it can so easily end.
How many non-traitors are on the Board of Fiji First? Not one. Fiji First is a fascist party. A pack of anti-democratic goosestepping thugs, their camp-followers and mendicants.
Gee. Mendicants? Who in Fiji uses this word? Let's have a guess, shall we?
A mendicant (from Latin: mendicans, "begging") is one who practises mendicancy (begging) and relies chiefly or exclusively on charitable donations to survive.
Who else but the GMBRTK, Ro Teimumu Kepa, herself.
Own goal, smartarse.
FijiFIST Party: Fijifirst party candidate Nemani Bainivalu loses temper and assaults man in the Wainivula Church Hall: "O iko na luveni kailoma sega kemu qele"; Luveni turned blind eye to co-candidate's violent rage!
26/07/2014
Reports have been received from Wainivula that Fiji First candidate Nemani Bainivalu lost control when he was bombarded with questions from voters. Dr Jiko Luveni was also present. Bainivalu used abusive language and assaulted a man when answering questions.
The Fiji First party was queried on pressing issues such as:
· The deletion of the entrenched legislation which gave veto powers to 9 members of the GCC to the senate to oversee legislation that may affect any changes to the Native Land Trust Act
· The effects of the Land Use Decree 2010 and the complete powers given to one person the PM to control the administration of land deposited in the Land Bank
In the exchange of heated debate Bainivalu told the man in Fijian:
“…..o iko na luveni kailoma sega na kemu qele”; Bainivalu then physically assaulted the man. This was done in front of people gathered at the Wainivula Church Hall. They were completely shocked at the behavior of Bainivalu and the lack of control from Luveni and other party officials.
This is a glaring example of the dictatorial attitude now displayed by Fiji First candidates who are following in the footsteps of their leader.
The heat is up and the lies of the regime are now being exposed as the general public is now being informed of the real intent of Bainimarama and Khaiyum to enslave all of us in their constitution.
Vutaki Meo, you cannot ask a question because it is clear Ro Teimumu is the leader and Qarase is a supporter. Qarase has made this public. Don't confuse yourself. The question should be raised to Bainimarama and Kaiyum of Fiji First, who is leading Bai or Kai? I must warn those who are in FFP, come out before you are led into the ditch. OK, take for instance if Bainimarama dies soon after the election, the leadership of FFP would surely go to Kaiyum and if he becomes the Prime Minister, than all the land in the Land Bank would be under Kaiyums responsibilities. Then what will happen to the landowners if they want their land back? Landowners and indigenous Fijians, please think again before supporting FFP.
Breaking News,information received from Fiji First Spies in Sodelpa Camp have confirmed that a quick meeting is planned ammongst the candidates and supporters to iron out certain differences amongst them;
1.To ascertain once and for all who is party leader.
2.To ensure that cash is provided evenly for candidates and for supporters campaigning for the party.
3.For the 3 party leaders Qarase,Tui Cakau and Rt Epenisa Cakobau to inform the public and the media who really is paarty leader as for now it is uncertain who is running the show, Qarase or Ro Teimumu.
PARTY SUPPORTERS FIJI WIDE AND OVERSEAS PLUS THOSE FENCE SITTERS COULD MOVE TO FIJI FIRST IF THIS MEET DOESNT HAPPEN.
"SA LAKO NA SITIMA LEVU NAI VOVCEVOCE ESA CEVUCEVU,SE ULI SE TAU,ESA VOCE KI NA CAKAU,SE UM"
Well I have changed my allegiance,ITS FIJI FIRST FOR ME NOW!! VINAKA PM BAINIMARAMA,WE SALUTE YOU.
Wa Nanavu
SODELPA supporters - don't be dismayed by all the distractions by Regime trollers on this site.We are on track and are ready for the elections. Gorvis is working overtime albeit unsuccessfully, (from our tax $) while we do the underground with our grass root family and supporters.
I have just been to church and know the fluidity of our campaigning is effective and gathering momentum.
Vote for SODELPA and the military will boot them out. Cycle of coups continues.

if u claim that u are also a civil servant. ur comments doesn't suit a civil servant.... Poor you....Go fiji first
zero tolerance for intolerance -
Ro - known racist ( first coup involvement ) hates Indians
- qarase - known indian and Kailoma hater .
- Mick Beddoes ( anti indian , posing as Kailoma champion )
- Fiji first - multi racial . Awesome supporter of all rights !!!!!
So Sodelpa - pull your sapoo down and bend over , we will show you rear kinda love ( wink :) , if ya al
Know what I mean
Yes we will win .... Yes we can
Yes we can !!! Yes we can yes we can
I digress but after hearing of the latest Fiji Miss World winner, one wonders if there will be a hoohaa about the Rotuman/Samoan winner as we had two years ago with a kailoma winning? And last year it was a Gujerati/Fijian. How come no full blooded Fijians winning? No pretty girls around I guess.
Dear Michelle O - suck on this -
A beauty pageant is not not to be taken literally , contrary to what you may think - girls with half a wit , some intelligence and charm , with beauty have the edge . Fir gods sake don't bring race into this . We are are half cast family and that's insulting . Everyone one has a fair chance to participate and win , or is it that you Fijians again would like some advantage there as well along with the billion other things you get - perhaps , I will speak to my AG friend and tell him that Fijian girls need to be given the upper hand .
"Free" laptops? Hahaha. With Chinese spyware pre-installed, no doubt.
Nothing the regime gives us is free. Just who do you think is paying for it? Do you think it's coming out of Bai's pocket? No, it's coming out of yours.
Here's how it works. It's quite simple, really. Bai illegally borrows large sums of money against the sovereign faith and credit of Fiji. I say "illegally" because Bai has no real legal standing. In Qarase v. Bainimarama et al, his entire regime was quite properly found by the Court of Appeal to be illegal. The sums Bai borrows are enough to roll over legal, existing government debt and to launch his programme to buy popularity through much-needed infrastructure improvements and election lollies, such as free bus fare. Hiring construction companies through irregular bidding processes, Bai is certain to skim from projects and receive secret kickbacks in return for awarding lucrative contracts. Tappoos makes millions, Bai makes hundreds of thousands, and the projects get delivered, albeit all over-priced.
Why do you think so many of the projects go to Chinese companies? This is exactly how they're used to operating. Why do you think Bai opted for a loan requiring repayment at a significantly higher interest rate than the IMF was offering? It's because Bai didn't want IMF scrutiny given to how he was using the money.
With me so far?
The hook in all this is that these borrowed sums must be repaid. They won't be repaid by Bai. They'll be repaid by you, in the form of higher prices, licensing fees and taxes.
You don't need to bus to school? Doesn't matter; you're paying for it. Don't need gumboots? Doesn't matter; you're paying for it — even if the gumboots never arrive. Bai and Khai's multiple salaries and Rugby Seven visits to Hong Kong and houses for Mary and sweetheart deals for cronies: you're paying for those, too.
Some of the projects will be worthwhile, like King's Highway. It's just that you're paying a high premium for them in order for Bai and his cronies to skim their graft, and in many cases you're getting shoddy workmanship. That's the thing about dictators. Having no accountability, they can get things done. But it also means they can rob you blind and get away with murder, as this regime has done on both counts.
All Fijians will be paying for Bai’s criminal profligacy for generations to come, unless we embrace Dakuwaqa’s call to repudiate all debts originating from this illegal regime. Our legal encumbrances from earlier, legal governments we honour fully, but the loans given to Bai in Fiji's behalf, even after his regime was ruled illegal, should be categorically repudiated. They're akin to fraudulent purchases made on a stolen credit card. This would, at a single blow, erase most of Fiji's debt, which, far from ruining Fiji's credit, would actually raise Fiji's credit standing, as Fiji would no longer be saddled with its present ballooning debt. This would have the additional benefit of serving notice to banksters and amoral governments that their loans to dictators run the very real risk of default.
This is an eminiently justifiable action, both legally and morally. The only way to achieve it, however, is by ousting Bai. If Bai is still in power, Fiji cannot repudiate his illegal debts. But if Bai is removed from the equation, by whatever means, Fiji would now be in a strong position to repudiate the entire illegal debt he's run up on our account, and to do so without jeopardising our relations with any other country.
So, nothing is free. It's coming out of your pocket and mine. But we don't need to let Bainimarama stick us with the bill for his campaign. Vote him out, and we can repudiate his illegal debts. Don't, and you'll get caught holding the bag.
Gee. Mendicants. Who in Fiji uses such words?
Not the Gone Marama Bale. You never hear her saying anything like that.
No. Only one person springs to mind: Ashwin Raj. He's defected to the opposition!
dicko@12.28pm...where did I say I was Fijian??..I am kailoma like you and I was asking a rhetorical question. where exactly did I attack kailomas and what is it you find insulting? just enjoy the nice breeze in kulukulu, ovalau or savusavu and read before attacking. dicko
kailoma12.28pm..why do you assume the girls in the beauty pageant are half witted...many of them attend or have attended uni. So the Kulukulu beauty kailoma Phillpa Steele falls in this category?
Girls, win a beauty pageant, and you, too, can be beaten and stabbed by Meli Bainimarama!
"High Tea" @ 10:25, it wasn't my allegiance I changed, just my underwear. It seems that Fiji First really IS a bowel movement. Maybe it was all that cassava I was running through.
I'm not a member, but I still support SODELPA as the strongest party with which to defeat the regime. All parties loyal to Fiji should unite behind Ro Teimumu's leadership.
JSL, Dakuwaqa's debt repudiation thing sounded good to me the first time I heard about it. It sounds even better with your explanation. What I like most about the idea is that the more Frank illegally borrows and spends of our money, in order to try to get himself elected, the more incentive we have to vote him OUT, so that we can repudiate the debts he's run up.
@ Anonymous 3:26 PM
And when he loses this election, we can pin the whole amount he has borrowed on him to pay back alone. He can share paying off the debts with Khaiyum if he comes back from the hospital after he recovers.
it doesn't matter whether SODELPA have one, half or none non-itaukei, as long as Fiji is freer, more individualistic, more democratic, and more open
Vote SODELPA/FLP/NFP/PDP only
Who wud be the leader of Fiji First if Bai is sick and bedridden or die today? Definitely Kaiyum... so whats the fuss idiot followers...
MR Qarase, in the meeting in Qauia, said that people needed to realise that there was no such thing as free education.
That is very true because there is no such thing as free for nothing.
Someone has to pay for it and we are fortunate that the present government is putting the taxpayers money in education.
Not only that, they are giving bus fares for children, pension allowance for the old and making sure that basic services like electricity and water is delivered to most of the population. Mr Qarase, you had the opportunity to do the same for all of us but what did you do? You tried to divide the people on racial lines and introduce the Qoliqoli Bill.
Do you think people have forgotten all those?
You had your days and now it is time that you give others a chance who have Fiji at heart.
@ 4.33pm n there'll be another coup haha
wow free education, free bus fares, freebies etc etc and yet majority still struggling to put foods on the table - I was just cant believe it !
OK se lai lotu mada
I agree that all FFP opposition parties should keep persistent logical arguments fashioned in ways that attract the interests and win the public votes as mentioned above,
Secondly the candidates should make use of the time left to present themselves as trustworthy, talented and reliable candidates. We the public should get to know all the SODELPA candidates. I am from Tailevu and I want to know the SODELPA candidate for Tailevu…get yourself speaking your heart out so that we all can know you and what you stand for and what you have to offer for Tailevu….that goes for all candidates,
I also want Ro Teimumu to go hard and notch up many gears upwards in her campaign…we hardly hear you now…only Qarase,,,but Qarase is no standing.. Ro Teimumu please do not repeat your Youtube support for Qarase…he is a good supporter but we want you in front of the fight. The more you are up front in the media constantly as a leader fighting Bainimarama the more we have you registered in our minds and consciousness.
Please Ro Teimumu do not and never call Bainimarama as Naita again as you did on your Youtube recording constantly..this is not a veiwekani chat as Naitas do to ech other..this is fierce political fight and you are not talking as a marama Naita ni Burebasaga to a kai Tailevu,,you are our political fighting leader fighting Bhai. you are his political enemy and he will not be a Kai Tailevu to you…you are his political enemy.,,if we mix our Fijian thing we compromise our political position and strength.
Go SODELPA……we fight for victory…down with BAINIMARAMA…..VICTORY TO SODELPA
JSL escaped from ST Giles, long rants and unresearched posts are signs of marijuana drug smoking during youth.St Giles patients are known for one thing, they always forget the paperwork after visitng the loo.
Vakanuinui vinaka vei iratou na candidates sa digitaka oti o PM, na noda veitokoni me sa gole i kea,ke o galala, gole yani kina Fiji First Office e Brown St,Toorak,we still volunteers to assist in our campaign. The more the merrier.there is a lot of areas yet to be covered.Registration fee is just $2.00.If you support Fiji First then get registered as a member.Once you become a member then you will feel that you really belong, its more lie a movement, like PM said.FIJI FIRST!!!MOVEMENT OF THE PEOPLE!!If you are sick and tired of the easing and kissing game, then join Fiji First,WE ARE THE DOORWAY TO YOUR FUTURE!.
Thank you Mick. Find this very useful if you have a copy of the constitution or know where we can get a copy i would like to read it for myself.
But this again just reinforces for me the danger to Fiji of remaining under the BaiKai regime.
Its the same pattern of behavior being repeated over and over again. Command and Control.
THE former prime minister has confused me when I read in the dailies that "there is absolutely no way that Christians will accept the neutral prayer offered by the government based on the secular State. We cannot worship a god we do not know".
The 2013 Constitution came into effect late last year declaring Fiji a secular State and today we are into the seventh month of the year 2014.
I believe with regards to the way we Christians do worship, including worship and prayers in schools, nothing drastic has changed before and after the new 2013 Constitution.
SAVENACA VAKALIWALIWA
I think Bainimarama is right in saying:
Fijians in particular should act like christians
Fijians should accept that we are no longer in the past
I have voiced my opposition to Bainimarama on many occassions but to my SODELPA friends, such a situation could also be a blessing in disguise
- we have achieved a milestone with the new electoral system
- we have limited our overblown parliament
- we have separated the role of traditional chiefs from the political arena
- we have rendered equality for all citizens
- we become mature on how we look at the political life in Fiji
Choose policies over race
Choose the rule of law over thuggery
Choose love over hate
Bainimarama has a tarnished image and so has Ro Teimumu and Chaudary whether be in politics or personally
But I only wish people could see beyond race, religion and creed and look at what will better our country rather than our personal comfort
Ro Teimumu is in danger if she brings back race based policies..Fijians do not need that anymore. Ordinary Fijians have been taken for a ride for too long based on those policies.
No more handouts please. More training and education would be the best way to go!
I envy Bainimarama for saying the right things even though he came the wrong way
Any one see the 4 the record program on FBC. Edwin Nand the boci obviously has franks "tolona" up his Cici. Biman well now that's the type of leader that will make me proud to be called a Fijian. He held his own despite walking into a hostile Pro FF radio station. I beg of all i-taukei people. Please for your own good and the good of the nation do not vote SODELPA or FF or Labor or PDP. As much as it is an emotional decision which i understand fully this election is too important to bring ones heart into the process. We must get rid of Frank but we must not replace him with another group who have been tainted in the past and is obviously out for revenge and nothing else.Do not become their pawns.
NFP is the only one with a credible manifesto and a great line up. "Kere kere vakabibi" to all who are reading this think long hard and wisely . I think your mind will tell you that the only credible party is NFP.Get them into power by block voting and we will be a much greater country in the next few years.
"" "Thank you Mick. Find this very useful if you have a copy of the constitution or know where we can get a copy i would like to read it for myself." ""
Nothing like waking up a bit late is there. And these people are going to vote !
Ha, yeah, right. As if most Fiji First supporters have read their party — sorry, political movement's — constitution.
Speaking of waking up late, trying to tie Ro Teimumu to any of the coups and then criticising her on that score seems pretty blerry minded when one considers that your boy has been the instigator of most of the coups in Fiji's history. That includes the 2000 coup, which was clearly anti-Indian. Wake up!
And in all of your criticism of Qarase, you never mention who it was who installed him in power in the first place. Wake up!
Your talk of multiculturalism is pretty obviously a smokescreen when the next moment you single someone out for being a kailoma. Aren't we all Fijians now?
JSL, what do you mean my gumboots might never arrive? The PM promised me those!
Tamai Tui Viti1, I agree with you that the government of the day has achieved some milestones, at least on paper. Now it is time for us to consolidate these gains by electing FFP. The PM will then have absolute power to enforce all these things and more. Not only will we have a new electoral system, but we will win every seat in every election. Not only will we limit the Parliament, but it will become a rubberstamp for the PM's policies. Not only has he separated the parasitical chiefs from the political arena, but he is ridding Fiji of their influence altogether. All citizens are now equal, whether they be Fijian or iTaukei, with equal claim to the land. And we've become more mature as a country, although some naughty elements still need to be taken up to the camp once in awhile for a spanking till they learn to behave. Go FFP! Yes we can!
As most of us know, "Yes, we can!" is an Obama slogan. But do you know that most Americans now view Obama as a failed President? And fully one-third of Americans believe he should be impeached. Is this really the model FFP would have in mind for Fiji?
Biman is a good man, and the NFP is a decent party. But it never should have left the UFDF. And it should have negotiated a unity ticket with SODELPA.
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Ro Teimumu as President and Biman as PM, although I think Wadan Narsey would make the better choice.
The NFP did all of us, and itself, a disservice by deciding to split from the rest of the opposition. The regime loves to use salami tactics, and the NFP played right into its hands.
baleta na ma se mino ga mai!
nothing is wrong with mugabe. he was a real man not loser like u:-!
We the Sanatan dharam - are appalled at anti indian comments here and reference to our worshipping practices . Yes we worship stone gods , but that's what religion is - an age old practice , we are appalled at the attacks against us Hindus .
We welcome Fijians to our temples and will continue with love and devotion . For now , our vote is undecided , although very quickly , Fiji first appears to be a front runner in our minds . Perhaps when you are all respectful to all races and religions , we may unite , but for now , it's seems like an uphill battle .

@Lucifer's child of July 26, 2014 at 10:37 PM.
Personally. I really do not care who is leader of SODELPA.
All I am concerned about is the Godly vengeance that may be inflicted on you and your family should you continue to defame my family name. Like majority itaukei families, mine also do pray to someone who hears our prayers.
For He knows who you are. Is this a threat? NO...But biblical fact that we can use spiritual weapons to rebuke the evil directed at us who believe. I do not have to know who you are, I do not need as someone goes before us and is my rear guard....you deal with Him!
Now back to the topic; The question we may have to ask is whether FF Party would now recruit and confirm more thugs as candidates to further intimidate the innocent voters?
Is the Secretary of the FF Party a candidate?..or wanting in the wings to be turbo appointed as a AG candidate should the retire Rear Admiral gets in with 25 others?
Yes, the General Secretary of Fiji First is a candidate. He's a candidate for capital punishment.
Dear losers who swear against any faith , be it Islam , Methodist , Catholics , Hinduism , Buddhism or whatever it is ... It's not right ... It's shows that ww have not progressed as Fijians !!!! Please stop .
My religion is goodism : I've decided that religious bias always creates conflict ... Ww as Fijians should accept all .
